How to transition your Halloween Decor into Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Can you believe that Halloween is next week? That means we are about to officially begin the holiday season! Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are right around the corner! While some of us don't even want to begin thinking about that, we're here to show you how you can start your fall decorations right now with Halloween and transition that for the rest of the holiday season.

Start with a neutral palette. A black and white base palette is best because you add pops of color throughout the season (orange, red, gold, silver). Buy all your basic dinnerware and serving ware in white. Not only is this cheaper, but you can then add pops of color by only buying the top plate or the charger plate in the color of your choice. Your basic white dinnerware will last you all year long!

Next pick home decor that will last beyond the specific holiday. Items like White pumpkins, gourds and owls will take you from Halloween to Thanksgiving. Mercury glass, such as candlestick holders, vases, and decorative items can take you from Halloween all the way through New Years!

Now take a look at how investing in smart key pieces will transition you from Halloween to Christmas!

A black and white theme, with white pumpkins and mercury glass looks elegant for Halloween.....

Those same pumpkins and mercury glass make beautiful Thanksgiving centerpieces and mantle decor...

These same candle holders transition into warm Christmas nights...

As you can see some simple key pieces and good planning will have your home decorated beautifully while saving some money!
