What we are thankful for....

There are so many things we both are thankful for this year so we wanted to share a few of those with you.

We hope that you have an amazing Thanksgiving and get to spend time with those that you love the most. Make sure you sit back and enjoy laughter, good food and vibrant conversation. Remember to not sweat the small stuff and to take the day in stride.

Happy Thanksgiving Sweeties!

(1) I got married this year and it's been one of the best experiences of my life. I truly married the perfect person for me and am looking forward to a wonderful lifetime ahead with him.

(2) My brother Devin has survived relapses of Leukemia twice this year and is doing really well. God is so good and I'm beyond thankful for the life that he has.

(3) It has been such a blessing to start our own company this year. Stylishly Sweet has kept my creative juices flowing and has me excited about the future. So thankful that we get this opportunity and thankful that I get to do it with a friend.

(4) My mom has been such an inspiration to me over my lifetime and this year, we've really been each others rocks. I'm so thankful for the relationship I have with her and feel extremely blessed that she is mine.

(5) This year truly has been a journey, of the emotional and physical kind. I've been able to do some traveling and see places I've only dreamed of. I'm so happy that I was able to go to Barcelona this year, see friends I haven't seen in awhile, and taste amazing food. What a great experience!

(1) I met Danae at work, and we bonded over blogging. It's amazing to me how fast we had become good friends and how we worked that friendship into a common goal of Stylishly Sweet.  This company is a dream coming true.  I get to do the things I love doing.  That's creating, crafting and writing.  I can not believe that we took the plunge to make it happen, and so I am most thankful for finding the courage to go into the unknown. Thanks Danae!

(2) A Job!! I had been laid off from my previous employer almost 2 years ago! It's a been a struggle emotionally, financially and spiritually. However, I never gave up, and I knew that the right job would come along when it was time.  It finally did and I can honestly say that I'm glad it took so long, because  this job was made for me.

(3) Chewy and my pets. If you own a pet or have ever had the love of animal, then you know what it feels like to be loved without judgement. Chewy has been my little companion for the last two years for 8+ hours a day. Not having a job is tough guys. You get bored, frustrated, sad and can just go insane. Chewy has been my friend. Giving me hugs and kisses when I needed them the most on rough days.

(4) Hot Pilates. I'm not an exercise person by any means. Most exercise bores me to death, and so sticking to any kind of routine is difficult. Enter hot pilates. A mixture of yoga, pilates and high intensity training in a hot room and you got  60 minutes of torture, and I LOVE IT!l It changes every day, and I've never been bored and most importantly I GO! So thank you to hot pilates for keeping me on the fitness track.

(5) Travel. I've had some opportunities to travel this year and anytime that I can get away anywhere, I consider it a blessing. I want to travel the world in this lifetime, and I plan on making it happen.

What are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving? We'd love to hear it!

Keeping you Stylish,
Danae and Monica
