How to make a TEA-lightful Mother's Day gift!

Mothers day is right around the corner, so why not honor your mother in a creative way and make her something special?

Teacups can be so beautiful and unique! Don't you love sipping tea out of an elegant cup with a saucer? It just MAKES you feel more glamorous. Give your mother a beautiful gift that she can use over and over again and think of you.

Here's how you do it!

1) Find a pretty tea cup. Usually you can find these at your local Goodwill or thrift store, or go online and order one. Try and pick something you know your mother will enjoy! My aunt gave me this one, and I cherish it!

2) Next, get some flowers together that are vibrant and lovely. I picked mine from my back yard, so if you can do that, it makes it even more special since you grew them! If you do not have flowers in your backyard, go to your local grocery store and get a couple of small bouquets of your moms favorites. Remember, you are filling a tea cup and won't need that much!

3) Buy some floral foam and soak it in water for one hour, or until the foam sinks to the bottom. That way you'll know it's soaked up as much water as possible, and the arrangement will stay alive longer. I poked holes in my foam, but if you don't, just make sure the stems of your flowers are cut at an angle so they insert easily.

4) Now, just start cutting and arranging. Add some with height to the center of the cup and make sure you cover all the edges so you can't see the foam. Filler works great here.

5) It shouldn't take you long to come up with the perfect arrangement. Keep arranging until the foam is covered and you are satisfied.

And there you have it! A beautiful arrangement your mother will just LOVE to receive!

I even love the mess it leaves!

We hope you enjoyed this sweet tutorial! Please let us know what you think! Would you do this and if you DO, please post pics on our Facebook page.
