How to Create an Inspirational Ladies Day!

Earlier this year we came up with an idea to create a ladies day where we could gather some of our friends (and new ones we were meeting) to have a time of inspiration, positivity and growth. Monica hosted the first event at her house in January and it was very motivational. At that point, we realized the good it could do in all of our lives, and decided to make this an on-going event.

I hosted our 2nd Inspirational day at my house in May and wanted to share with you the fun pictures from that event. We really feel that women should empower one another, not tear each other down. What better way to solidify that idea than a brunch with a mimosa bar, inspiration boards and lots of dream building! Am I right?!

I created a theme called "Bee Inspired" and had lots of flowers (on the tables and walls) a black, white and gold table scape and even Savannah Honey Bee Favors for the gals to take home.

I decided to go with a light brunch since it was only a 2 hour event, and provided fruit salad, danish pancakes, cheese, crackers and apricots and a few sweets like macarons and lemon tart.

The Mimosa bar was a lot of fun to put together as well. I chose three juices, but you can choose whatever strikes your fancy. Here's how I put it together:

Juices: OJ, Mango and Pomegranate
Garnishes: Raspberries, Peaches and Strawberries
Glasses: Assorted Champagne glasses with Black and White straws and washi tape flags
Signage: I made them on Canva
Gold Tray: TJ Maxx
Acrylic Ice Bucket and Juice Carafes: Cost Plus World Market
Milk Glass: Vintage , Stylishly Sweet Rentals

I also created questions for all of the girls to draw out of a bowl. Each question was thought provoking and it was so fun to hear their answers and chime in as well.

After mimosas and brunch, we headed over to the inspiration board table and got crafty!

We each covered a poster board (from the Dollar Store) with favorite quotes, pictures and inspirational messages. We were dreaming of where we wanted to be in the next year. The ladies came up with some pretty great stuff!

All in all, it was a fabulous day! We would love to invite you to our next one, just leave your information in the comments and we'll include you.

We're also interested in hosting these types of events for offices and parties. Let us know if you are interested!

What do you think? Would you like to be a part of something like this?

Have a wonderful and inspiring day!

Keeping you Stylish
